Q: Can businesses advertise on Asian Network?
Certainly, Businesses can create their own business profiles on our Business or Shopping (online store) sections. We also allow some businesses to place ads on our Classifieds section.

Q: How long before my Classified ad is taken off Asian Network? vestibulum ?
All Asian Network Classified Ads expires 14 days after first being published and they need to be reactivated in order to be republished.

Q: Can I place my ads in a few locations simultaneously?
Yes, it’s possible only if you have created a Business Profile and also want to put ads on the Classifieds section. Please place your ad in the specific geographic location of where you are located.

Q: Can I place my ad in multiple categories simultaneously?
No. Please choose one category only. Unless you are cross industry and providing goods or service unrelated. Otherwise you may get banned.

Q: How often can I place an ad?
You may place ads on Asian Network as often as you like - however every ad must be unique and separate. We do NOT allow users to place the same ad (or even a very similar one) in more than one category or one city.
If you try to submit an ad that is very similar to an existing one, your ad will not be processed. Removing the existing ad first will allow you to place the new ad.

Q: What should I do if someone harasses me?
If you're genuinely being harassed, in any form of harassment because of our site, please Contact Us and we may direct you to authorities who could advise you better of your legal options.

Q: What can I do to protect myself in a transaction?
• Because we are a locally-based website, many of our users choose to transact face to face, which takes much of the fraud risk out of online buying and selling.
• We strongly recommend that if you're planning to deal with someone and exchange goods sight-unseen, you use an online escrow service.

Q: What can I do if a transaction turns bad?
Please let us know if you feel you've been cheated in a transaction, providing any details you may know about the individual / company involved. In most cases, we want to help you, but generally speaking it's just mostly beyond us. We recommend you go to the police and/or small claims court for any real investigation.

Q: I saw an ad that offended me and I want to complain about it?
We suggest you send the advertiser an email and let them know your feelings. If they haven't provided an email contact, then Contact Us. However, we don't censor the content on this site - our users do.
If you feel the content is prohibited and a lot of other users also complain, then we'll review the ad and possibly remove it (if it's stepped outside our guidelines).

Q: Can I send a link to a friend?
Yes, you can. Simply go to the ad and click on the ‘Send to friends’ link you’ll be sent to a screen where you can enter their email to send them the link. We don't store either of your email addresses (or send/sell it to someone else).

Q: How do I get my ad noticed?
• Be funny. Outrageous. Or use an image. Basically, try anything to grab people's attention.
• Remember that the better your ad is, the more likely it will be noticed by our visitors.
• Another technique to increase your ad's prominence is to delete your ad daily (yes, that's right), then re-submit it again immediately. This will move your ad up in the list. (The most-recently submitted ads appear at the top. When re-submitting, make sure you have deleted the existing ad first - otherwise you will see a submission error.)
Note: Whatever you do, don't submit your ad in multiple spots at the same time (eg, the same ad in Sydney, Melbourne or Adelaide). It may get your ad removed.

Q: Can I show an image in my ad?
Yes, images absolutely draw attention to your ad.

Q: How do I include an image with my ad?
When placing your ad simply use the 'Browse' button to choose an image from your computer. Once you have chosen an image and proceeded with placing your ad, the image will be uploaded to our servers.

We try to reply to all emails within 24 – 48 hours but sometimes it isn't possible. Please be patient and we'll reply as soon as we humanly can.

Q: What type of data do you collect about me?
To help prevent online fraud, Asian Network collects some specific location data about you when you post information to the site. We primarily use this to prevent known criminals from placing fraudulent ads on the site. In some instances, however, we may also provide this data to authorities if there has been a case of a fraudulent transaction.
